It always feels like Christmas around here when I get a shipment of albums or canvas wraps or other lovely items like that. In fact, I received a ton of great stuff before Christmas that I had wanted to share, but in all the madness, I didn’t get around to photographing them. But, I just recently had two shipments of albums arrive, so I snapped a few pictures of each of them before shipping them off to their anxious owners. All three of these are my premium albums that I personally custom design.

First up, Chris & Aniela’s 10×10 wedding album. I am loving their cover choice of a chocolate suede with embossing (debossing??). Bonus: They come is this nice box and soft handmade bag…

Next we have Nathan & Chelsea’s 10×10 wedding album. They went with a fabulously modern full-image wrap cover…

And finally, sweet little Mattie’s 8×8 album, also with a modern full-image wrap cover. Also shown is a 5×5 mini replica which is perfect for grandparent gifts… or you know, just a duplicate to throw in your purse to have on you at all times =)

This little guy held out on us, arriving in a whole different year from when he was due =) He is just as handsome and perfect as humanly possibly, so I’m sure his mama forgives him for the tardiness. I absolutely loved having him here last week, and I’m excited to show off just a few of my favourites.

He started off a little skeptical…

… but soon settled in just fine.

JD & Beckie

This is my sister-in-law (Dave’s little sister) and her boyfriend. We really like JD and are rather hoping to keep him. I will go ahead and be as bold as to say that I think Beckie is too

Theo and I became buds a couple of months ago when he and his big sister came for a little photo session. Now that he’s 6 months old, sitting up, and just keeps on getting cuter and cuter each day, it was obviously time for another session =) It’s not a secret that I looooove babies, and the really chubby ones snatch even a little more of my heart. Safe to say that Theo qualifies as an awesomely chunky little guy! Plus his mama brought along this super cute hat that she had made for him and his fashionable leg warmers to add some fun colour. I was so happy =)

Braden & Charlotte

Love these two. So sweet, so genuine, so in love, and just too adorable for words. I first met them when I photographed their wedding, which I believe was about 4 years ago now. Since then, I’ve photographed a couple more of their friends’ weddings and have had the opportunity to spend a little more time with them. I was thrilled when I found out that they were expecting… and even more thrilled when she asked if I’d be willing to do a photo session with them to celebrate this exciting time for them. Willing?? Um, yeah. I love how I’ve been able to kind of tag along with the exciting times in their lives. Their wedding, some of their friends’ weddings, the birth of their nephew, and now their first child. Unfortunately, they live in Halifax so we won’t be able to get together again when the baby is born. But, Charlotte has blossomed into quite the talented photographer herself, so I’ll be excited to see her pictures showing up on Facebook =)
