I work with grads throughout the St. John River Valley, primarily in Fredericton, Woodstock, Hartland, and Florenceville-Bristol. I'm always happy to travel a little farther - especially to places like New River Beach, your family cottage, or somewhere meaningful to you.

What to expect

A relaxed experience
It's normal to feel a little unsure about being photographed, but my top priority is making you feel comfortable. We'll be moving, laughing, and having a good time before you know it.

Beautiful light
Sessions are scheduled in the evenings (or late afternoons in October) when the light is soft and flattering. I often choose locations based on the light - it truly makes all the difference.

A personalized session
You're welcome to share any special locations, hobbies, or ideas that would add a bit more "you" to your session - whether it's a soccer field, the family farm, or bringing your dog along.

Lots of support
Don't worry about posing - I'll guide you the whole time. We'll work together to create a beautiful collection of photos that feel relaxed, confident, and genuinely like you.

FAQ
How much in advance do I need to book?
I open my calendar for summer & fall shoots in the spring of the same year. I'll give some notice, but it's typically mid-March. If you're wanting a session during the peak months of August-October, it's best to book early spring when I first start accepting bookings, as spots are limited and those dates go first.
How long will the session be?
With the ladies, we are often around an hour and a half, as they are generally excited about the occasion and want to soak up the experience. The guys typically want things to be as quick as possible, so we're often closer to an hour.
What should I wear?
This is a personal choice, especially when it comes to teens. It's important for you to look and feel like you! These photos are meant to be a representation of you at this point in your life, so lean into that. Make sure you're able to easily move & sit, and that you feel comfortable & confident in what you're wearing. Feel free to bring options, and I'm happy to give an opinion or two if you'd like!
Where will we do the session?
This is up for discussion! I always love when grads have somewhere special in mind - their grandparents' farm, at the family cottage, etc. But there's also nothing wrong with a simple tree-line where the sun streams through, a pretty patch of wildflowers, or along a stream. I'm located near Hartland and travel throughout Carleton County without charge. For the Fredericton area, there is a $75 travel fee. Beyond Fredericton, please inquire about availability and travel cost.
What should I bring?
Feel free to bring extra options for outfits & accessories for us to choose from. Bring your dog if you want. Bring a guitar, violin, or harmonica if it's your passion. You can bring art supplies, sports gear, your bike, books, and most certainly, you can bring snacks if they make you happy. You don't NEED to bring anything other than yourself and a single, favourite outfit, but you are certainly welcome to incorporate more of "you" into the session if you'd like.
How long does it take to get my photos?
I deliver complete galleries within 2 weeks, often less.

STEP 02
plan your session
We'll choose a location that fits your personality and style, along with a time that offers the best light.
If you have ideas, hobbies, or meaningful spots in mind, I'd love to incorporate those. You're also welcome to send outfit options if you'd like input, but there's no pressure.
STEP 03
Session day
We'll meet at our chosen location and spend an hour or so together, keeping things relaxed and natural. I'll guide you the whole time so you don't have to worry about posing.
Your balance is due on session day.
STEP 04
Editing + Gallery
After your session, I will carefully edit your best images, upload a private gallery, and send it to you within two weeks.
