I offer a gentle, natural approach to in-home newborn photography, capturing your early days with a new baby. Sessions are simple and unhurried - just your family, at home, as you settle into this new season.
I photograph newborn sessions throughout the St. John River Valley, from Fredericton to Florenceville-Bristol, and I'm always happy to travel a little farther for new babies.

What to expect
There's nothing I love more than documenting those early days - sleepy stretches, squishy cheeks, and tiny details that change so quickly. Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, bringing home a new family member is a big life moment - and those first days together are incredibly meaningful.
I'm genuinely honoured that you're considering inviting me in to document a small piece of this time.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled within the first 2-3 weeks after birth and take place in the comfort of your home. We'll use natural window light and photograph in the spaces you spend time in with your baby - likely the nursery, your bedroom, the couch, and any other pockets of beautiful light your home offers.
It'll just be me and my camera - no big production, and no set expectations. Sessions are baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. While I aim to be mindful of your time, I'm never in a rush.
I'll guide you into relaxed, natural positioning when needed, but there's no pressure to perform or pose perfectly.
You do not need a magazine-worthy home or a spotless space.. In-home sessions are meant to make life easier during an already full season, while creating images that feel personal and meaningful to your family. I'm completely comfortable with pets, toddlers, unfolded laundry, and a bit of chaos - it's all part of real life, and always welcome.

FAQ
How much in advance do I need to book?
Some moms book a few months in advance as they find it helpful to have a tentative date on the calendar. This is helpful to me, too, particularly during my busier summer & fall months. BUT, please don't hesitate to reach out even if your baby has already been born. It's not too late - we can (and should) still make it happen. I have photographed lovely newborn sessions for babies up to 3 months old.
What if our house isn't very photogenic?
I promise that we will be able to find at least a couple of areas that work well. It's where you're bringing your baby home to and making memories in this season of life. It's the best place for these photos regardless of aesthetic.
How long will the session be?
Sessions are baby-led and allow time for feeding and soothing - there isn't really a set time or formula for my newborn sessions. That being said, I usually find that around an hour and half seems to be the average time needed to get a good variety of images. Don't worry, if you have a toddler, they do not need to be "on" the whole time. They typically wander in & out and it's absolutely enough.
What should we wear?
This is a personal choice, but generally something very simple & neutral, comfortable for both you & baby. Avoid anything that would tend to compete for attention like bold logos & colours. My gallery is full of examples of clothing that works well.
How long does it take to get our photos?
I deliver complete galleries within 2 weeks, often less.
What if we don't want our pictures online?
Your gallery is available only via a private link and is password-protected - only you can view it. As for Instagram and my website, I *always* ask for permission first. If you're not comfortable with me sharing them, they will never be posted.

Just let me know once baby has arrived and you feel ready - we'll confirm a date that works well for your family.
STEP 03
Session day
I'll go to your home and do my favourite thing - capture the real-life sweetness of your new baby and this season for your family.
Your balance is due on session day.
STEP 04
Editing + Gallery
Following your session, I'll carefully edit your best images, upload a private gallery, and send it to you within two weeks.
